A LITTLE HELP

Simple answers.
Less paperwork.

A few things to know about your scans, your library, and staying in control.

When can I download the app?

The app is in development and is not yet on the App Store. This website will link directly to its verified App Store listing when it is available.

Do I need an account?

No app account is required. Your library lives on your device. Apple uses your Apple Account only for App Store purchases and any Apple-managed backup services you choose.

What is included for free?

Save three documents at a time, with up to 50 pages per document. Scanning, photo and PDF import, text recognition, search, editing, export, App Lock, and the backup choice are included. Deleting a document frees a slot.

What happens to scans when Premium ends?

Existing documents and saved summaries stay accessible. You can read, edit, print, share, or delete existing documents and read, copy, or share saved summaries. Saving a new document requires fewer than three saved documents unless you have an active subscription.

Can I correct a difficult scan?

Yes. The original is retained so you can compare it, adjust perspective and edges, or retake the page. Use Clean Up Page to reprocess the retained source. If a repeated cleanup makes no change, the app explains whether the page is already current or white-paper balancing was skipped. Your saved page, recognized text, and summary remain unchanged. To retry a missed crop, choose Detect page corners again or adjust the corners yourself. A scan cannot recover text hidden by a fold, missing from the photograph, or lost to glare.

Where are my scans saved?

Scans are saved in the Library inside Private Document Scanner on the device you used. They are not automatically added to Photos or Files. Open a document and choose Share PDF to send it to Files, another app, or someone you choose. Use Print to open Apple’s print options.

What happens when I update a page?

Update page replaces its visible version inside the same document in your Library. It does not create a second document. A confirmation identifies the saved document. The retained original stays on your device so you can compare or restore it. A document saved to Files earlier is a separate copy; export again to include your latest edits.

Will my iPhone library appear on my iPad?

No. Each device has its own local library. You can explicitly export files and import them on another device. The optional device-backup setting does not enable document sync.

How do Apple Intelligence summaries work?

On compatible devices running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, Apple Intelligence selects key passages from recognized text and links them back to the original pages. Apple Intelligence must be enabled and its on-device model must be ready. New generation requires Premium in the App Store version. A model can decline a request, and unreadable text can prevent a useful result. Summaries may omit information, and text recognition may misread words or numbers. Check important details and surrounding conditions on the original pages. Editing pages marks a saved summary as outdated. Processing stays on your device with no cloud-model fallback.

How will I restore or manage a subscription?

Use Restore Purchases or Manage Subscriptions in the app. Apple handles billing. Restoring purchases restores subscription access, not a document library from another device.
